A Visit to: Cirquoise at Gates Garden Centre | Leicestershire

Summer activities can be difficult, especially if you're trying to cater for all ages. But I've something that might help, as it's your final weekend to experience Gates Garden Centre summer experience, Cirquoise.

Gates Garden Centre in Leicestershire (close to Oakham, Rutland) is one of the region's most cherished destinations and offers something extraordinary this year.

So, if you've been in search of an affordable, exciting and family-friendly adventure, then look no further! 2024 has brought the magic of the circus to Gates Garden Centre with the enchanting Cirquoise show!

Cirquoise is not your typical circus. This dynamic performance blends breathtaking aerial stunts, acrobatics, trapeze acts, diabolo juggling and a slapstick comedy with laughs for children - and adults! It's a delight for audiences of all ages and with tickets starting at just £8.00 per person, it's an experience that won't break the bank either.

The show is packed with dazzling light displays and popular music that will keep even the youngest audience members entertained.

If you're a parent of a toddler, like me, you'll appreciate the spacious surroundings for those cheeky little ones who like to stretch their legs at random opportunities, as well as the sensory-rich environment that keeps babies thoroughly engaged too!

We loved the relaxed seating environment, it allowed us to move around easily... Especially if your little one decides they need a bit more space to explore!

It can be to keep an explorative toddler entertained during a live show, but Cirquoise was a relaxing environment that kept you at ease. The performance lasts just over an hour, with constantly changing engaging acts, music and focal points, perfect for little attention spans too.

Stanley, my 15-month-old, loved the show so much that he turned the experience into his very own "Stanley Show," parading around and showcasing his new walking skills. If you happened to be there on Friday evening and spotted a sweaty mum in green chasing a tiny human, yes, that was me!
