Uppingham's Mid-Lent Fair is in Town this March

Uppingham’s Mid-Lent Fair has arrived in town. From Tuesday 11th March, Uppingham's Market Place transforms into a fairground of fun.

The annual fair is a historic tradition. Dating back to the 1600s, the fair is protected by the Royal Charter and has been organised and run by Holland Amusements for over 100 years. It’s a cherished part of Uppingham’s heritage, bringing generations together for a few days of excitement for young families within the town.

The fair runs daily from 5 pm and on Saturday 15th March, you can enjoy even more family-friendly fun from 2-5 pm.

FREE parking is available on Gainsborough Road and Seaton Road as well as CO-OP car park or roadside parking throughout the town, but note, the market place and mercers yard parking are close for the fair and fairground vehicles.

A visit to the fair is always a treat, but why not make a night of it? My top tip would be to take advantage of Don Paddy’s special offer for families—with Kids' Meals for only £5 on weekdays between 5:30-6:30 pm. It's a delicious bargain for little ones and for the parents, there’s a little something for you too. Order two cocktails or G&Ts and you’ll receive a FREE side plate—the perfect way to start or end your fairground adventure.

Embrace the nostalgia and head to Uppingham for an unforgettable evening at the fair.
