Many shops and businesses in Uppingham are still open for business with new arrangements in place due to government advice, so you can continue to #ShopLocal but only when completely essential. I received a phone call from Councillor Miranda Jones yesterday after she took it upon herself to personally gather information to verify changes in place of each business who continues to open during this time. Changes include; takeaway options, online streams, online shopping, deliveries, contactless payment only and much more.
Miranda asked if I could use my platform to share her findings, so we can continue to support our local High Street and have all the information in one place to make it as easy and simple for customers to know the changes and amendments now in place.
