Looking for a unique foodie event in Rutland this July? Award-winning restaurateurs and bestselling cookbook authors Honey & Co. are visiting Rutland Nursery for a special evening celebrating their latest cookbook.
Taking place on Thursday 16th July, this exclusive event is part of Rutland Nursery's popular Authors in Conversation series and promises an evening packed with delicious food inspiration, fascinating stories and the chance to meet two of Britain's most celebrated cookbook authors.
Honey & Co. is the award-winning husband-and-wife team of Itamar Srulovich and Sarit Packer.
Since opening their first Middle Eastern-inspired restaurant in London in 2012, they've built a much-loved collection of restaurants, cafés and creative spaces, including Honey & Co. Daily, Honey & Co. Studio and Honey & Co. Great Portland.
Their debut cookbook, Honey & Co. Food From The Middle East, was named Cookbook of the Year by The Sunday Times, won Food & Drink Cookery Book of the Year from Fortnum & Mason, and received The Guild of Food Writers Award for Best First Book.
Alongside running their restaurants, they host the popular Honey & Co: The Food Sessions podcast, write for FT Weekend and Guardian Feast, and continue to inspire home cooks through their approachable recipes.
Their newest cookbook, Honey & Co. Daily: Easy Food for Your Everyday Pleasure, is all about making everyday cooking exciting, achievable and full of flavour.
Featuring more than 100 recipes inspired by their café menu, the book includes: Vibrant seasonal salads, Comforting one-pan dinners, Easy midweek meals, Quick bakes, Delicious desserts and sweet treats.
I've already been trying some of the recipes myself, and they're incredibly easy to follow while delivering huge flavour. It's the perfect cookbook for anyone who loves cooking great food without spending hours in the kitchen.
The evening event at Rutland Nursery will be hosted by Chris Young, guests will enjoy a relaxed evening exploring the stories behind Honey & Co.'s restaurants, recipes and cookbooks.
Throughout the evening, you'll gain behind-the-scenes insight into their kitchens, discover the inspiration behind their recipes, hear practical cooking tips and enjoy a live cocktail demonstration before asking your own questions during the audience Q&A.
The evening finishes with the opportunity to meet the authors and have your books personally signed.
