Enjoy a Christmas Market crawl through three charming Rutland and Northamptonshire villages (within 6 miles of each other) starting in Laxton, heading to Harringworth, and finishing your day in Barrowden with a well-earned pint or a bite to eat at The Exeter Arms.

Laxton Artisan Christmas Market

Saturday 15th & Sunday 16th November 2025, 11:00am – 5:00pm

Begin your festive adventure at Laxton Village Hall, where a thoughtfully curated collection of handmade treasures awaits. This charming two-day event showcases the work of local artists and makers, with ceramics, textiles, art, and beautifully crafted gifts — perfect for those who love something unique and made with care.

It’s the ideal first stop to ease into the Christmas spirit and pick up some truly personal presents.

Harringworth Christmas Artisan Market

Saturday 15th November, 11:00am – 4:00pm

📍 St John the Baptist Church, Seaton Road, Harringworth NN17 3AF

Next, make your way to nearby Harringworth for one of the most loved Christmas events in the area. Set in the stunning surroundings of St John the Baptist Church, this artisan market brings together an incredible line-up of local creators, including Rutland Forge, Little Print Gifts, Bunny & Pud, Emilina Designs, Wild Florrie, Lezzeri, Jasminka Pots, Kendall & Co, Bettie Browns and many more.

The St John’s Christmas Café will be serving homemade cakes, mince pies and bacon baps — perfect fuel for a spot of festive shopping! Don’t miss the ever-popular Hamper Raffle and “Created in Harringworth” stall, featuring homemade cakes, jams, chutneys and potted bulbs that make ideal gifts.

All proceeds support the Harringworth Appeals Fund, so every purchase helps a good cause.


Barrowden Christmas Art & Craft Fair

Saturday 15th November, 10:30am – 5:30pm 📍Barrowden Village Hub, Wakerley Rd, Barrowden, Rutland LE15 8EP

Round off your market crawl in beautiful Barrowden at the Christmas Art & Craft Fair, featuring 18 talented artisans displaying everything from jewellery and homeware to original artwork and festive decorations.

Enjoy live music as you browse, soak up the friendly village atmosphere, and pick up those last few gifts — all while supporting local artists and Alzheimer’s Research through the day’s refreshments stand.
