It's already March and 2018 is well underway!
Spring is upon us and there is lots going on around the county this month. Therefore I've put together a 'What's on' Guide for March so you can plan your month around some exciting events!

Wednesday 14th March
Where: The Falcon Hotel, Uppingham
Time: 3:00pm or 6:30pm

About: Dementia Friends Information Sessions are run by volunteer Dementia Friends Champions, who are trained and supported by Alzheimer’s Society. Each Information Session lasts about one hour. You will learn more about dementia and how you can help to create dementia friendly communities. Join us in Uppingham on March 14th at The Falcon Hotel. The first session is 3pm and the second 6.30pm.

Thursday 15th March
Where: Oakham Enterprise Park
Time: 9:30am or 12:00pm

About: We're joining in the Great British Spring Clean! So come along, have some cake, have a natter and let's keep Rutland Water Green!Anyone taking part will get a voucher for a full day's free parking at any car park around Rutland Water.

Saturday 17th March
Where: Uppingham Town Hall
Time: 8:00pm

About: Uppingham Come Dancing - Ballroom, Sequence, Latin and Old-Time. Something for everyone! Bring your own refreshments. Prizes for raffle would be greatly appreciated.

About: Join us on the 22.03.18 where we will have three experts on hand to give you some insight and knowledge into the some of the finest wines around the world. We’re very privileged to have Sammy Wilkinson (Crown Cellars, Worldwide Wines & Spirits) joining us, local expert knowledge from Hambleton Bakery and an insight into some of the tastiest cheeses from VegFactor. Tickets are limited and are just £5.00 with proceeds being donated to The Air Ambulance Service. Tickets are available from the Hotel Bar & Restaurant.

Where: The Grainstore Brewery Tap, Oakham

About: Following on from last years great event we are holding another Car Treasure Hunt. Starts with registration at 10am at  The Grainstore Brewery Tap, Oakham followed by a 2-3 hour drive around Oakham and Rutland including stops. About 40 miles drive through the wonderful countryside around Rutland. £10 per car - great prizes and great fun.Breakfast is available at The Grainstore beforehand but booking is recommended.
